The Leveraged Buyout of America

"Feudal." Perfect description for the big 'banksters. How stupid do they think we are?'

  1. Dear Nunya,

I read the Huffington Post article, and I have to say I am bemused. Not because of the banksters shit described, but because of the incredible stupidity of everybody else.

I mean... history has proven again and again over millenia that unless the law restricts the power of the super-rich, the super rich wlso becomes the super-fascist. That's what caused the revolutions of 1789 (France), 1917 (Russia) and 1949 (China) - as well as dozens of other less spectacular ones all over the globe.

"giant bank holding Co's owning fucking airports ,roads, ports, power plants ,etc..." jesus fucking christ, when is USA gonna fucking wake up? Don't they read history at school in USA? One of your earlier presidents (Roosevelt, I think, but I could be wrong) said once something like "the more you learn about history, the better you're prepared for the present and the future".

So... what's up with USA? Is history an optional subject which no kid ever takes - even future presidents?

In related news, I read a post in Alternate Brain that also had be shaking my head in despair: the article is titled "Just sayin'...". Apart from one dude, everybody else jumps with joy at the suggestion of dropping beaucoup nuclear bombs all over Syria.

Wow. Seems like even the "lefties" in USA have become fascist imperialist cunts. I mean, I used to like Alt Br, and "Fixer" even once asked me to "fill in" for him (publishing articles) - out of the blue - I'd never have even suggested nor hinted anything like it to any blog owner.

Anyway, I'm certainly glad I don't live in USA any longer. I feel for you.

In more rejoicing news, no more porcupine invasions lately, lol. Some great news also: the infamous cunt Jeanette Lucey has closed her rag.

Lastly, Deidra and I have enjoyed some great movies lately.

But I miss Stiletto and Valérie very much, sigh.

    Hugs.

    1. WhyNot,

Any 2nd grader knows that American History text books are bullshit. Mostly Americans are trained to be good little consumers. I've learned more about the truth of US history from immigrants and foreigners than I ever did in my 3 US history classes. No doubt that the military contractor lobbyists influence the education system here via "think tanks."
As far as Syria goes, I'm sure that the military contractor lobbyists are influencing what passes for "news" coming out of this country also. I try to avoid the mainstream news and advertising and the infotainment because most of it is nonsense designed to distract Americans and keep them buying the poisons that pass for food and medicines here.

  2. Yes, Republicans and "Pro-Business" Democrats are in the pocket of the 1%. They cater to their whims, they listen only to them because they one day will be them.

We are living in a Ultra-Reactionary Age, in which, all efforts to aid the Working Class are under assault and the Era of Neo-Feudalism and Wage Slavery are about to commence.

    1. Grung_e_Gene,

I think wage slavery was a goal of the business community always and once the common worker gained a tiny bit of power via unions the work began for the powers that be. They have been committed to crushing unions and there are documents stating so since the early 70's. http://billmoyers.com/content/the-powell-memo-a-call-to-arms-for-corporations/

  3. Nunya,

"I'm sure that the military contractor lobbyists are influencing what passes for "news" coming out of this country also."

I can dig that, however it's no excuse for dudes like the authors of Alt Brain to come up with such fascist crap. Unless "alt" in "alt brain" actually stands for "dead" as in "brain dead".

I mean... I really used to like and respect them guys, and so for years. It was a real shock to me to read their fascist crap.

Oh well, at least there is you and your fans left among the Americans I met in my life. Actually, that's not quite fair, Dianne (my last spouse - the 1/2 Cherokee 1/2 Irish origins woman from Louisiana) was originally as fascist as the average American, but after only 2 years of smooth talking on my part, lol, she became as leftist as can be - even swearing by Trotsky and Che Guevara, lol.

PS: I mentioned some great movies in my previous comment; here is a fabulous one: "It could happen to you" (2007, I think). With Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda (not 100% certain of her name - but she has to be one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen on the screen). Don't know what rating it gets on IMDB, but Deidra and I both agree on 10/10.

Bonus: it's not only a fantastic movie, it's also one of those films which leave you feeling good for days.

Lolol, how true. And don't feel singled out in USA: even though our current president (François Hollande) is from the Socialist Party, Neo-Feudalism and Wage Slavery in France are the main items on the national capitalist menu.

Marx, Trotsky and Che Guevara must be having nightmares in their coffins.

  4. Nunya,

"I try to avoid the mainstream news and advertising and the infotainment because most of it is nonsense"

Ok. You of course would know better than us Europeans. However... would you make exceptions for the "New York Times" and the "Washington Post"? They are very respected papers here in Europe, and as far as I know, everywhere in the world. Only just behind "Le Monde". By the way, does "Le Monde" have an EN version available in the US? They most likely have an on-line version in EN.

It is very shocking to hear history books in USA are bullshit. They would not dare do this in Europe, there would be riots in every major city all over the continent, lol.

I think you Americans are far more too passive - generally speaking. Here in Europe, if something really pisses people off, they take it to the streets. The very next day! Just like in the Doobie Brothers song. Great funky song, by the way :-).

I'm not as jubilant as WhyNot's news of Jeanette having closed her blog. I had only just arrived on PP when she instantly jumped on my arse, and I was really looking forward to shit all over her from a great height and with assiduous regularity.

Since we have her street address, I'll have to look into WhyNot's idea of sending her a snail-mail letter full of anthrax. Ideally, plutonium wastes from one of our hundreds of nuclear power plants would be a true heavenly gift. Right up her Jesus dildo alley!
