Aw who gives a crap?

I keep trying to force myself to post here rather than FB  or at least post here once a week something politcal and timely and I just don't care any more.  It's a Goddamned motherfucking corrupt ass political system and the differences between the bankster/corporate owned Dems and Rethugs are becoming less and less. All my friends and family are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs.

Most 3rd graders have a pretty good idea of what's wrong in this country and how to fix it, but nothing is changing.

When I see an article about Jamie Dimon maybe having to step down I'm just disgusted.

Step down?

Awwww poow widdwe Jaimie...

The fucker should be sent to the guillotine along with that squeaby little fuck Lloyd Blankfein and a few others. A few other major overhauls and simplifications that I am too damn tired to go into  (Like a lobbyist turkey shoot) and things might start changing for the better instead of worse.

Note to retards, especially those fucktarded enough to vote Republican and work for one of the redundant 16 Na'tl security agencies: I am not avocating murder, I am only venting my feelings

  1. PS: expanding and clarifying what I said above (about concentrating on my personal life and forgetting the blogging bullshit):

I think what I mean mostly is that I'm realistic enough to realize no amount of blogging by lowly unknown bloggers such as me (or you, let alone fucking Jeanette cunts) is gonna make one milligram of difference in the world.

    Simple reason(s) is/are:

    - Who reads any of our blogs? NOBODY. Well, more precisely NOBODY except our 1/2 dozen respective friends/participants.

    - Who else in the world gives a single flying fuck? Tell me what you think - Honestly? Unless you're as delusional as that cunt Jeanette, which I know you're not, you'll have to admit to yourself that, in fact, NOBDY AT ALL in the world reads our humble rags. ok ok, maybe 3 or 4 people... if that. Wow, BIG fucking deal! 4 people out of 8 billion... mmm... are we reaching a monumental 0.0000000000000000000001% of the world's population yet? Who are we kidding?

That's why I gave up preaching to the empty choir years ago; originally, it was Dianne's idea to create PP in 2000, i.e. 13 years ago. She was all keen and idealistic. And just because she was so enthusiastic, and because BLOGS were such a NEW medium, I got dragged into it, I thought "what the hell! Why not?

Nothing to lose, right? And who knows, maybe this new medium revolution that gives the power to the lowly masses to express themselves publicly as loud as the most famous newspapers and TV channels will actually CHANGE something in this fucking world that's rotten to the core.

Well, she and I (and you and Jeanette and all the other bloggers) have been proven fucking completely wrong. Deluded. Complete utopists. NOTHING has fucking changed at all. Name me one simple symbolic humanitarian fact/action that has been the result of fervent/feverish blogging; come on, give me ONE SINGLE ONE!

In comparison, you have organizations like Amnesty International that have save HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS (if not millions) of people from torture and death sentence by regimes as abhorrent as the banana repulics thriving in Africa and South East Asia, as well as who have murdered more civilians worlwide that even Hitler's Germany.

Anyway, I'm not trying to dissuade you from carrying on with your fairly noble cause, far from it - if you have the stamina to fight for a completely lost cause, then good for you, it's truly an admirable attitude.

I'm afraid I've grown to cynical and selfish for that sort of devotion to humankind.

    Hugs anyway :-)

  2. Hi Nunya,

    It's me, Deidre.

I have fairly high hopes of overturning "Free"s decision to close PP. I'm raising a storm (make that a tornado) using my social worker status and therefore my contacts with the extensive free legal aid available in this country.

Wish me (/us) luck. Not just for our personal individual sakes, but for the sake of justice and freedom of speech in France, and the abolition, anhilation and extermination of mega-corporations (such as Free).

On the other hand, WhyNot is right about something: François Hollande may be president (chosen from France's Socialist Party), but I can hardly tell the difference between him and that fascist arsehole Sarkozy.

If it comes to desperate solutions, a new blog on La Poste might just be the solution.

Actually, I personally couldn't care less, and heartily agree with WhyNot's last paragraph: all this blogging with intense political agendas bores me shitless, mostly because it is so fucking pointless and useless, and also because it is like an endless repetitive déjà vu. Zzzzzz... yawn... snore...

    For WHAT good exactly?

To finish off on a more pleasant note, we watched (again, but still... a really great movie) "Duma", the story of a baby cheetah rescued in extremis on a highway by a South African white family.
