Earl Klugh (pronounced "Clue", born September 16, 1953,[1] Detroit, Michigan[4]) is an American smooth jazz[2]/crossover jazz/jazz fusion[3] guitarist and composer. In 2006 Modern Guitar magazine wrote that Klugh "is considered by many to be one of the finest acoustic guitar players today."[5]
Heh. I knew that in 1986. Soda Fountain Shuffle is my all-time favorite CD.

Dear Nunya,
ReplyDeleteI love you more by the day! Earl Klugh... known his music for decades. In my early days in Oz, I worked for a couple of years in a company named Datronics, repairing mainframe computers.
When I left, the rest of the staff organized a little farewell get together, and among other things presented me with a gift: 2 direct-to-disc LPs, one of Earl Klugh and one of Joe Sample (who is another genius, but not at guitar, at piano). Still, similar vein of music, named with various labels (smooth jazz, crossover, west coast, fusion).
I see fucktard "anonymous" is thrilled to learn about Earl Klugh, lol. Sigh!
In other exciting news, Jeanette has now caught the high power diahorrea bug and is posting 50 km long rants explaining why she is so wonderful and I am such a scum, and it's only too logical and very good and wholesome and born-again like to want to repeatedly assassinate me. And Stiletto, for good measure, lol.
