Jebus, no shit, 11% up on the commodity food price index from last year. Remember the riots from '08? Do you wonder as I do if the biggest investment banks in the world should be dicking around in the commodities markets?

  1. Some of these places - talk about living on the edge.

I see nuting on crop losses because of drought. Most of it is in.

Drought in the Corn Belt - Little snow in the Rockies. What people don't get is the door is now wide open for it to be possibly worse the rest of the year and next too.

If that did happen will media whores talk about how much money is being lost - - - - or what the fuck we gonna do now!

  2. I get that there have been droughts, but I do wonder how much speculation is going on in the commodities markets, after all, the people with money to invest and investment banks with shareholders to answer to have to have somewhere to make money, no matter who suffers.
