"Local" flora and fauna
Yeah, I don't know who's brilliant idea it was to plant Australian eucalyptus trees all over San Diego residential areas because San Diego is fire prone. Eucalyptus trees have been known to explode in fires.
They don't harvest the trees in the residential areas for feeding Zoo and Wild Animal Park animals.
