Heh, I didn't shop either. In fact, I have an amazingly hard time bringing myself to shop for anything other than groceries - ever.
Hating shopping is a real advantage. Makes it much easier to consume less. (though I have to admit my wife wishes I'd shop for clothes more often than once every few years :-/ )
Well, if she works, the shallow society we live in requires "presentable clothing" to remain employed outside the home. It's generally fashionable, ugly, impractical, and uncomfortable, that "business casual" crap. I know I'm in the minority of women when it comes to shopping when I say I hate it. I married late. :)
Hey, who's the genius who decided that high heels for women and ties for men were a good idea?
I tried to buy used clothing for my kid, but unfortunately, used clothing for kids between certain ages is hard to find, because kids are hard on clothes, and they grow so fast.
