  1. Hi Nunya,

I read the "commondreams" article. Very interesting. Even more interesting are the many comments it generated, most of them written by Americans, and all of them voicing their outrage at their own country's outrageous on-going fascist imperialist foreign policies.

It is disheartening to observe that after fascist imperialist cunts of the magnitude observed with Bush/Cheney/other megalomaniac fucks, Obama doesn't seem to be a much better proposal.

Or... am I just having hallucinations reading all that stuff? What do you think? You're better placed than most ppl to have a clear-minded impartial view, plus I trust you, so please tell me what the fuck is going on out your way.

    1. No WhyNot, you are not hallucinating. I'm sure most Americans who can stand to pay attention to the politics in this country would agree with me when I say that it's a pay to play system and 99.9% of "we the people" do not feel that our political "representatives" represent us. They just want to get re-elected and they do that by aligning themselves with moneyed interests that can pay for the exhorbitant costs involved with campaigns. And then they dance wid whut brung 'em, meaning they do what the moneyed interests that got them elected want them to do.

I still believe that Obama is a well intentioned man, he's just strangled by a really broken system.

  2. Nunya,

Ok. Well, it's rather depressing. But I guess most politics in most countries are depressing. It's the same shit over here: Hollande is from the socialist party, right? What's the difference in life for the average person living in France, and especially for the under-priviledged one? I mean, the difference with the fascist asshole Sarkozy who preceded him? Exactly FUCK ALL.

That's why I don't take interest in politics any longer. I used to be ferociously involved, then became only mildly so, and now I couldn't give a flying fuck.

"pay to play system" ... lolol, this reminds me of when Windows 95 came out many years ago; supposed to be the "plug and play system", it soon turned out to be the "plug and pray OS" (and the "plug and pay" one).

Been to the zoo lately? How's the cheetah?
